Alexisonfire Lead Second Wave of Artists Announced for Kelowna’s 2026 Rock The Lake Music Festival

Rock The Lake Music Festival is excited to reveal that Canadian alt-rock legends Alexisonfire will be one of the headliners at this year’s festival, running July 10-12, 2026, at Prospera Place. The outdoor event, powered by the GSL Sports & Entertainment team, will also feature April Wine, Glass Tiger, and The Hip Replacements in Downtown Kelowna during the three-day festival. These acts will join Cameron Whitcomb and Default, who were announced previously.

The full 2026 lineup will be announced in the coming weeks, rounding out a weekend curated for music fans from across generations as the festival continues to evolve with our community.

Considered one of the most influential Canadian alternative bands of the 21st century, Alexisonfire, co-led by City & Colour’s Dallas Green, are currently touring to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their Platinum-selling album Crisis. The band earned multiple Juno Awards and has built a multi-decade-long reputation for their high-impact live show.

No stranger to Rock The Lake, April Wine ties the festival to its classic rock roots. With decades of international success, induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and a deep catalogue of radio staples, the band remains a touring force.

They’re joined by another Rock The Lake classic rock fan favourite, Glass Tiger, who received a Grammy nomination in 1987, and have been on the road cementing their place as one of Canada’s most successful pop-rock imports to this day.

Completing the second wave of artists is high-energy tribute act, The Hip Replacements, highlighting the legacy of beloved Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip.  Keeping the spirit of The Hip alive, they’ll bring singalong anthems to life under the Kelowna sun.

“Rock The Lake 2026 brings our vision of an inclusive rock festival to life,” says Trish Jelinski, General Manager & Vice President, GSL Group Sports & Entertainment. “One that stays true to its classic rock foundation while also celebrating great Canadian music across generations, past, present, and future. Alexisonfire are such an iconic band for a whole generation of Canadian rock fans, so to be the festival that brings them to BC this summer is so exciting. As we promised, this is ‘rock for all.’”

Both 3-Day general admission (GA) and VIP festival passes are available now at selectyourtickets.com. Festival-goers can still take advantage of the festival’s “Rock The Lake, Not Your Budget” payment system to split their festival pass into three payments over the coming months.
