Prospera Place Announces New COVID-19 Restrictions

Kelowna, BC – Prospera Place and GSL Group announced they would be implementing new COVID-19 protocols in adherence with the B.C. provincial guidelines.

Starting today, the home of the Kelowna Rockets will be operating at 50% capacity in effort to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

George Fadel, Senior Director of Marketing at GSL Group, reiterated how GSL and Prospera Place will continue to follow public health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

“Prospera Place will continue working diligently to provide a safe environment for all fans, performers, athletes, and partners visiting the building. Throughout this pandemic, we have worked closely with the local government and health authorities to ensure we are adhering to the most up-to-date health guidelines. We will continue to do so with these new restrictions while providing guests at Prospera Place with the type of fun and safe experience that they expect from us.“

Pospera Place will continue to implement all other health and safety protocols as listed by the government, including vaccine mandates in which all guests over 12 years of age are required to show proof of their vaccination QR code along with valid photo ID. Masks will remain mandatory for those aged five and older at all times except when eating and drinking while seated.

Ticket holders will be notified of any updates if one of the events coming to Prospera Place is rescheduled.
